My Self Portrait

My Self Portrait.

Today Whaea Donna came into our classroom to teach us how to do a self portrait on google drawing. I learnt how to use the curve line and how to draw it. I tried my best. The little scribbles are meant to be frickels. It was really hard using curve because if you mess up you have to start it all over again. Over all it was hard and challenging. Do you like doing digital art? Good bye.

How to look after your chrome book.

How to make your chrome book last longer!

This Monday and last Monday Whaea Donna came in to teach us how to look after our chrome books. We had to make a poster about how to look after our Chromebooks. We had to show some photos of it. This is the poster my buddy and I created.

The learning was very fun. We got to list some things on how to look after our Chromebooks. Then we make a google doc for our poster.

Do you look after your Chromebook like you are meant to?

Bridge to Terabithia Chapter 2.

 Bridge to Terabithia.

Jess's first impression of Lessie Burke , he didn't know if she was a boy or a girl. When she said"There is no one around for miles we might at least be friends". Some how he knew she was a girl. Jess was not really interested so he bluntly said "I have work to do". He returned with a milk pale to milk the cow but when he came back she was not there. Jess did not really like her much. So it didn't worry him.

He never saw her till the first day of school (which was the race day). I think Jess's opinion on her will change on the running race day, because Jess did not know how fast she is. Jess might accept and be friends with Lessie Burke.

When Catherine McAuley was older she wished to help the poor people.

She drove around and found a place where the rich could see the poor. It was Bogget St. A little while later she built a big house in 1827 with her inheritance money. She helped the poor children and parents. She taught young girls how to sew. She taught the children proper education. She went to France to learn how to teach a big sum of children. She gave people clothes and food to sustain them.

Catherine McAuley became a nun in 1827 and spent the rest of her life helping others. Catherine McAuley loved to give to others and she also gave people cups of teas. She died on the 11th of November 1841.

Thank you card and How thank you changes the world reflection.

 Reflection

This week we had to make a thank you card to a person that has helped us lately. We had to stick it in our book when we finished, for checking. First we had to to draft. Then edit. Then rewrite ( if we had to) and then publish on a card. I decided to make a pop up card, so I found a  youtube clip to follow. In the card we had to mention how we felt.  I made a thank you card for my brother for helping me cut up meat for the dogs. Then we had a big question we had to write how thank you changes the world. Thank you changes the world because it  complements  the person that has done something for you. This changes the world because it will make those to people to do good things which inspires other to do the same. Thank you shows you are grateful for something which will make other people say thank you.

Smile Peom

 Smiling poems

Smiling is like covid-19,
you catch it really fast.
Soon I had a smile ear to ear.
I walked down the road with the sun on my face.
Everyone saw my grin and then there faces turned as bright as the sun.
A big smile is all you need to make it speed wildly around the world like 1,2,3.
So get out of your house sharing your massive grin.
